CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Medical Center: Established in 1986, Medical Center is located in the renowned South Texas Medical Center. This 178-plus bed, acute care facility provides comprehensive care for adults. It features award-winning rehabilitation services, a comprehensive orthopedic program, the CHRISTUS Transplant Institute, diabetes care, a nephrology program and endocrinology services. Medical Center Hospital has recently expanded its 24-hour emergency room by tripling its size, allowing it to serve an even greater number of patients. Our facility also offers highly specialized services such as orthopedic and cardiothoracic surgery, cardiac catheterization and the latest in hyperbaric wound care services, transplant surgery and ventricular assist device implants.
